Baking Up a Little Lovin!

So it’s finally time for this week’s baking recipe.  A little late but hopefully you will find it worth the wait. The inspiration for this week came from two sources.  One, I still had a bunch of left over lemons. And two, I’m hosting a tea for my Jr High girls small group tomorrow, so I needed some tea time recipes.  After scouring one of my favorite cookbooks I found the perfect recipe – Lemon Tea Bread.

Fruitful in a Land of Suffering

When I woke up this morning I had fully intended to post my weekly baking recipe. However as I was praying and getting ready for the day I felt led to share something a little different. I wanted to write a little about all that God has been speaking to me in the last couple of days. I think someone else needs to hear this or at least be a little reminded. It always amazes me how when God has a point to drive home He uses every aspect of your life to drive it home. Be it a weekly Bible study, a Sunday sermon, a song on the radio or a old podcast from months ago. And that’s exactly what the Lord has been doing with me this week. All through the story of Joseph and his eleven brothers.

Grocery Outlet Gourmet

Sorry for the lack of posts over the last couple of days. It's just been soooo beautiful and warm outside that I couldn't resist skipping the indoor projects and enjoying the great outdoors! Sorry to all you East Coasters who are still dealing with the effects of Snowmageddon but yesterday was a perfect sunny 70 degrees here in Livermore, CA (sigh of contentment....).

But I'm back and have some great plans for the week. To start with is another Grocery Outlet Gourmet feature. There were so many delicious options at GO this week that I had a hard time deciding what to make! But thanks to everyone else and their savory grill aromas wafting through my wide open windows, I finally decided to do a little grilling myself. And so I bring you:

 Lemon Pepper White Fish with Wild Rice and Grilled Zucchini.
